Doraemon Custard Cakes **

Whenever anybody we know visits Japan, I'll surely ask him or her to bring home a box of these delicious Doraemon custard cakes for me. I discovered them on our first Tokyo vacation. Our tour-guide (B's client) recommended a box to us and after one bite, I was immediately hooked!

I brought home a couple of boxes to give away to friends but ended up keeping most for me since I loved them so much!

Have you tried these custard cakes before? They're really soft and tasty and the custard filling is simply delightful. Plus the Doraemon shape is just too cute for words! Anyone heading to Japan any time soon? Bring home a box of Doraemon custard cakes for me okay?

Starbucks Peanut Butter Sandwich Cookie *

Have you tried the peanut butter sandwich cookie from Starbucks? If you have not, PLEASE rush out to your nearest Starbucks and grab a few pronto! Oh and get a banana choc muffin too while you're at it!

Banana chocolate muffin and peanut butter sandwich cookie are now officially my two favourite dessert items at Starbucks. They are equally yummy and if I can enjoy both right now, I'd be one happy camper. I am ravenous looking at my pictures!

Can you see the delicious creamy peanut butter oozing out from the peanut butter sandwich cookie? Now imagine sinking your teeth into this sweet soft and crumbly cookie! All I can say is ... divine!

Char Kuey Teow Extra Spicy Please! *

A popular noodle dish here in Malaysia, Char Kuey Teow is also one of my lunch-time favourites. Typically found at hawker stalls, there are plenty of restaurants and cafes serving this very yummy street dish as well. I just had this yesterday and looking at my photo now, I wouldn't mind having it again today!

Hot n Spicy

I do love my CKT extra spicy with big fat prawns and lots of cockles. I also prefer it a little wet and not too dry. And usually, I'd dig right in as soon as my extra spicy CKT is dished out onto a plate from its piping hot frying pan!

Afternoon Refreshments @ JW Marriott *

So yesterday I attended a perfume launch organized by AVON. The launch was great and I will write about that later at my perfume blog but right now, I gotta give compliments to the refreshments served that afternoon. I love hotel food and JW Marriott (where the launch was held) served delicious delights that got my tummy rumbling even more the moment I laid eyes on the scrumptious spread!

The food was tastefully served and I loved that each one tasted different unlike some hotels that serve different food but they more or less taste the same from one dish to the next. So my favourite item yesterday was definitely the salmon mousse! How I wish I had taken two instead of just one!
