Jacket Potatoes *
When we visited Covent Garden, London on our last vacation, B and I made sure we tasted the delicious-looking jacket potatoes served here. I haven't had anything to eat the whole day and the jacket potatoes smelled really good. It was also a cold day so something hot and filling like potato was perfect.
There were all sorts of toppings but I wasn't feeling adventurous that day and settled for beans and cheese, which turned out to be quite tasty. While B queued up for our potatoes, I joined other tired tourists who were sitting at the side of the road enjoying these hot baked potatoes while people watching at the same time.
When cooked to perfection, jacket potatoes come out with a fluffy interior and crispy skin and the ones we had were definitely fluffy on the inside and crispy on the outside. B decided on Tuna & Corn. I tasted both potatoes of course and I definitely think mine was the better choice. Tuna & Corn is interesting but Beans & Cheese is simply yummy! Which one do you like more?
